The Longborough Youth Chorus
Develop skills in singing and moving, ready to take part in full-scale opera performances.
Longborough Festival Opera’s Youth Chorus offers young people aged 7-18 the opportunity to develop their singing, creative skills and stage experience, coached by a team of vocal, drama and movement specialists.
Rehearsals take place around Longborough, through October-December 2023 and April-July 2024.
The Youth Chorus perform regularly with the Orchestra and Company of Longborough Festival Opera in showcases and local concerts, and are invited to audition for roles in main-stage productions.

Take part in 2024
Plans for 2023-2024 include a Christmas showcase in Longborough on Sunday 10 December 2023, and participation in Puccini’s La bohème on the main stage at Longborough Festival Opera (27 July - 6 August 2024).
You don’t have to know lots about opera. We are looking for young people who show commitment and an interest in exploring exciting and innovative ways of storytelling through singing and acting.
Cost: £60 (winter term) / £95 (summer term)
