Dining

Dining

Dining is an important part of the experience at Longborough Festival Opera.

Our 90-minute dining interval allows time to relax and enjoy the picturesque grounds: whether you reserve a place in one of our exclusive restaurants or simply bring your own picnic to enjoy.

All bookings must be made and paid for in advance – please be sure to book your dining with your opera tickets as spaces are limited. Menu choices should be submitted at least two weeks prior to your visit. Wagner performances have an additional 30-minute interval.

Our local caterers: The Old Butchers

Described by the Good Food Guide as a ‘local gem’, The Old Butchers is a family-run restaurant – and as the name suggests occupies a former butcher’s shop in Stow-on-the-Wold. Locally sourced products complement their nose-to-tail ethos, and their citations in the Square Meal Guide, the Hardens Guide and the Michelin Guide are well deserved.

For 2017, The Old Butchers will be with us throughout the Festival as our on-site restaurateurs. As well as supplying luxury picnic hampers, they’ll be catering for the Valley Buffet and our Coach House Restaurant – with a wine list from local supplier Toke’s of Chipping Campden.
