Intervals and Dining

Our 90-minute dining intervals allow time to relax and enjoy the picturesque grounds.

Bring your own, or pre-order a picnic - and enjoy the glorious British sunshine*. Our catered dining venues are sold out, but you can still get a luxury experience by ordering a hamper from local restaurateurs The Old Butchers.

If you’re worried about the weather, there are some limited spaces available in our marquees - a great place to enjoy your picnic. Check availability and book online at lfo.org.uk/visit/dining.

If you’ve booked a place at the Coach House Restaurant or Valley Buffet, your table will be allocated to you prior to arrival.

What to wear

Black tie, formal dresses or a stylish garden party look: there is no specific dress code, though many guests choose to wear black tie for the occasion.

We recommend avoiding high heels as our grounds consist mainly of grass and gravel paths, and an extra wrap or blanket is a good idea as the evenings can become chilly.

Getting to Longborough Festival Opera (GL56 0QF)

The theatre is located on the outskirts of the village of Longborough in Gloucestershire, a few miles from Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh. By road, please approach Longborough Festival Opera from the A424, NOT through Longborough village.
