Youth Chorus 24-25 (instalment 1)

Longborough Festival Opera’s Youth Chorus offers young people aged 7-18 the opportunity to develop their singing, creative skills and stage experience, coached by a team of vocal, drama and movement specialists.

Plans for 2024-2025 include a Christmas showcase in Longborough church on Sunday 8 December 2024, and participation in Purcell's Dido and Aeneas on the main stage at Longborough Festival Opera (26 July - 2 August 2025).

The Longborough Youth Chorus works towards productions at Longborough, community concerts and local showcases, incorporating a wide variety of repertoire. To find out more including rehearsal schedules, visit lfo.org.uk/youth-chorus

£80 is to be paid by 30th September 2024.

The Youth Chorus perform regularly with the Orchestra and Company of Longborough Festival Opera in showcases and local concerts, and are invited to audition for roles in main-stage productions.

You don’t have to know lots about opera. We are looking for young people who show commitment and an interest in exploring exciting and innovative ways of storytelling through singing and acting.
