Thomas Blunt has held the positions of Chorus Master at Glyndebourne, Assistant Conductor to Vladimir Jurowski and the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and First Kapellmeister at Konzert Theater Bern. He has conducted for Glyndebourne on Tour, Welsh National Opera, Opéra National du Rhin, Konzert Theater Bern, Longborough Festival Opera, Buxton Festival, Orchester Musikkollegium Winterthur, Cor and Orquestra Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and the LPO; he has also worked at Opera North, Opéra de Lyon, and La Monnaie. He recently made his debut with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra; future plans include re-invitations to conduct for Welsh National Opera, the Glyndebourne Tour, LPO, and OSESP.
