Seumas Begg

Tenor

Scottish tenor Seumas Begg is a graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Glasgow. A versatile performer who has covered a broad range of character repertory, his most recent engagements have included the world premiere of Oliver Leith’s Last Days at the Royal Opera House. Later this season, he will appear with Longborough Festival Opera in its production of Monterverdi’s L’Orfeo. He also returns to ROH, covering the role of Pang in Puccini’s Turandot. 

Other recent credits have included making his West End debut in the Donmar Warehouse production of Henry V, also broadcast in cinemas internationally as part of NT Live.
