Hailed by Austria’s ORF as ‘An outstanding artist’, soprano Sarah Marie Kramer is a new, exciting and formidable talent on the operatic stage. Having performed throughout Austria, The Netherlands, Germany and her native Canada, Ms Kramer’s upcoming operatic debuts include Sieglinde/Die Walküre (2021, 2022, 2024), Isolde/Tristan und Isolde (2022) and Leonore/Fidelio (2021, 2023). International festival appearances include the Bayreuth Festival (the Villa Wahnfried), Aldeburgh Festival and the Oxford Lieder Festival.

Sarah Marie was one of four singers chosen as a Young Artist by Katharina Wagner for the Bayreuth Festival’s Young Artist Programme and Villa Wahnfried concert series in 2017 and 2018. Ms Kramer has been a finalist in the Lauritz Melchior International Singing Competition for Young Wagnerians, the International Richard Strauss Wettbewerb and the International Mozart Competition. 2021 marks Sarah Marie’s debut CD release with the Dresden Chamber Soloists of the Staatskapelle Dresden, with the first commercial recording of Richard Strauss' Vier Letze Lieder for chamber ensemble and Wagner’s Wesendonk-Lieder. More recent performances have been with the Beethoven Philharmonie, the Aalborg Symphony and recitals at the Schönberg Centre and Vienna’s Kunst Historisches Museum. Ms Kramer will make her Musikverein debut in the 2022/23 season, performing Beethoven’s Ah! Perfido! and Haydn’s Scena di Berenice.
