Rosie Purdie

Assistant Director

Rosie studied Music at the University of Bristol and upon graduating she trained at The King’s Head Theatre. Rosie is a recipient of the JMK Leverhulme Trust Assistant Director bursary.

In 2016 Rosie directed the Christine Collins Young Artist’s performance of La bohème at Opera Holland Park and in 2017 she revived ETO's Tosca in Tallinn, Estonia. 

Assistant Directing credits include: Il trovatore (Scottish Opera); Riders to the SeaSāvitri (British Youth Opera); Merlin (Nuffield Theatre); Noye’s Fludde (Blackheath Halls Opera); ToscaPatience, Gianni Schicchi & Il tabarro (English Touring Opera); King Arthur (Barbican); The Cunning Little Vixen (Royal College of Music) and Così fan tutte (Opera Holland Park). Rosie's future engagements include productions with Scottish Opera, ETO and Garsington Opera.
