Rachel Speirs (Emerging Artist)

Soprano

Scottish Soprano Rachel Speirs enjoys a varied career as a performer. Recent and upcoming engagements include ‘Discover Opera’ recitals for English National Opera, Titania/Hippolyta in The Fairy Queen (Longborough Festival Opera), Theresa Bazelgette in The Great Stink, Lamplighter (cover) in Manon Lescaut, and Chorus in The Rake’s Progress (English Touring Opera), cover Musetta (Hurn Court Opera), and soloist for Mozart’s Requiem at the Royal Albert Hall. Rachel is an Artist Practitioner for the Royal Opera House Create & Sing Programme, is co-director of SoundUp Arts CIC, has recently toured a newly written opera for babies aged 0-24 months, and regularly leads workshops with SEND participants and people living with dementia.
