Miloš Milivojević

Accordionist

Serbian accordionist Miloš Milivojević has been awarded full scholarship from the Royal Academy of Music. Miloš is a winner of RAM Club Prize open to all instrumentalists in 2007 and winner of the prestigious Derek Butler Prize at the Wigmore Hall in 2008 - contested by students from all four of the London conservatories. Miloš is a member of the London Tango Quintet, Kosmos Ensemble, AccordDuo and the Balkan group Paprika and he regularly performs with guitarist Craig Ogden and violinists David Juritz and Lizzie Ball. Live broadcasts include BBC, Classic FM and ABC Radio. He has performed tango live in front of millions on the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing TV programme. Performance credits include: Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Arena, Sidney Opera House, Cadogan Hall, Purcell Room and in front of HRH The Princess Royal, Opera North, Opera Holland Park and Glyndebourne. In 2021 he performed the Piazzolla Double Concerto with guitarist Craig Ogden and the Orchestra of the Swan in a virtual concert and in 2022 he performed the Jonathan Dove Accordion Concerto ‘Northern Lights’ with St Paul’s Sinfonia, London. In 2022, Miloš performed in Graeae Theatre and the BBC Concert Orchestra’s production of Errollyn Wallen’s groundbreaking opera ‘The Paradis Files’ which was recorded for BBC Radio 3. In 2014 has been elected an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music (ARAM). Miloš has been appointed as an external examiner for the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Miloš exclusively performs on Pigini Accordions and his debut solo CD “Accord for Life” is available on the Nimbus label.
