Luke Horner

Tenor

Irish tenor Luke Horner is a final year master’s student at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire, London. He is in receipt of the Kathleen Creed Scholarship fund and is studying under the tutelage of Lynton Atkinson. Previous teachers include Jon Christos and Robert Alderson.

In April, Luke played the role of Parpignol in a touring production of La bohème with Hurn Court Opera. Other recent performances: creating the role of Stage Manager in the premiere production of Ashley Pearson’s Verismo with Opera on Location and a touring production of Handel’s Semele conducted by Christian Curnyn and Will Todd’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland with Opera Collective Ireland.

His previous roles include: Nemorino/L’elisir d’amore, Torquemada/L’heure espagnole, and Don Basilio & Don Curzio/Le nozze di Figaro. Luke is also an accomplished Oratorio singer. He is a regular Tenor Soloist with various institutions throughout Ireland and the UK. Luke will be moving to Belgium in September as an artist with the International Opera Academy 2023-2025.
