Laura Ruhí Vidal, Soprano, graduated with Distinction from the Master Opera Course at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where she also studied for a BMus (Hons) in performance with singing Professor Susan McCulloch and Scott Johnson.
Currently she is a Guildhall Artist Fellow under singing tuition with Kate Paterson.
Her recent operatic roles at the Guildhall include Aphrodite, Phaedra (Hans Werner Henze), Norina, I pazzi per progetto (Donizetti) and Bathsheba, The Cunning Peasant (Dvorak). Other roles include Feu, L’enfant et les sortilèges at the Barbican Hall and Gretel Hansel and Gretel with GSO.
