Hans Knut Sveen is a Norwegian harpsichordist and organist who has been performing and recording early music since the 1980s. His interests within music include working with sampling and sound synthesis separately and in combination with acoustic instruments. Between 1995 and 2023 he was associate professor at the Grieg Academy in Bergen, where he taught and researched. In addition to his work as leader of Bergen Barokk and many years of performing with Bjarte Eike and Barokksolistene, he collaborates with artists and ensembles within classical and contemporary music.
