Concert highlights this season include Bach St Matthew Passion at Southwark Cathedral, Bach St John Passion at St Albans Cathedral, Beethoven 9th Symphony at Cadogan Hall, Brahms Ein Deutsches Requiem & Vier Ernste Gesänge at the Wiltshire Music Centre, Goodall Eternal Light at Bath Abbey, Haydn Nelson Mass at Lichfield Cathedral and the title role in Elijah at Lincoln and Arundel cathedrals.
Recent engagements include the roles of The Chief/Odaline de la Martinez’ Imoinda; The Herald/Stanford’s The Travelling Companion (New Sussex Opera, recorded by Somm for future release), Felix/Tom Coult’s Violet with the Britten Sinfonia (Jerwood Opera); Marchese d’Obigny/La traviata (Opera Holland Park Young Artist); and title role/Eugene Onegin (OperaUpClose). Operatic roles include Masetto/ Don Giovanni (British Youth Opera); Jailer/Tosca and Noah/Russell Hepplewhite’s Silver Electra (English Touring Opera); Melot/Tristan und Isolde (Grange Park Opera) and Le Brigadier/Le Pré aux Clercs (Wexford Festival Opera).
Felix Kemp is a Britten-Pears Young Artist and this season he performs recitals for the London Song and Oxford Lieder festivals. Felix has recorded the role of Pierrot in Ethel Smyth’s Fête Galante for Retrospect and his broadcasts include In Tune for BBC Radio 3.
