In 2024 Catharine made her Bayreuth Festspiele debut as Gerhilde/Die Walküre, and reprised this role in 2025 while also covering Brünnhilde/Siegfried and Götterdämmerung. Other engagements include Brünnhilde/Der Ring des Nibelungen (Regents Opera); Isolde (Act Two)/ Tristan und Isolde (Akademisches Orchester Zürich at Tonhalle Zurich and Stadthaus Winterthur); and Kundry in Act Two of Parsifal (New Palace Opera in London); Gerhilde/Die Walküre (Oper Wuppertal); Aufseherin/Elektra (Dresden Philharmonie).
Other operatic engagements include Eva/ Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, Leonora/La forza del destino and Alice Ford/Falstaff (Fulham Opera); Aksinya (cover)/Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk and Gerhilde (cover)/Die Walküre (Royal Opera, Covent Garden); Kostelnicka (cover)/ Jenufa (English National Opera); and Donna Elvira/Don Giovanni (Diva Opera UK).
Catharine studied Music at the University of Durham, Vocal Performance at Trinity Laban and the Alexander Gibson Opera School at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Career highlights include performing at Buckingham Palace for the Queen’s Coronation Festival in 2014 and various television appearances.
In the 26/27 season she will make her debut at the Royal Ballet and Opera as Dritte Norn/ Götterdämmerung, Kundry/Parsifal for Regents Opera and sing Elektra in concert for New Palace Opera.
