Brian Smith Walters’s 2026 season includes covering Tristan at Teatro Carlo Felice, Genoa, and appearing at Longborough Festival Opera as Melot. In 2025, he made his role debut as Apollo (Daphne) with Regents Opera, later reprising the role with Edinburgh Players Opera Group. He also sang the title role in Tristan und Isolde at the Grimeborn Festival and returned to Siegmund (Die Walküre) with Regents Opera.
Recent seasons have seen a growing presence in the German dramatic and Slavic repertoire, including Siegfried (Siegfried) and Siegfried (Götterdämmerung) with Edinburgh Players Opera Group; Siegmund (Die Walküre), Tambourmajor (Wozzeck), and Der Fremde (Das Wunder der Heliane) with Regents Opera; Laca (cover, Jenůfa) with English National Opera; Andrei (Oprichnik) with Chelsea Opera; and Prince (The Love for Three Oranges) with Regents Opera. He also covered the title role in Peter Grimes with Polish National Opera.
