Internationally recognized for his “dulcet tones” and as “a name of which you’ll certainly hear more” (Music OMH), Bradyn Debysingh’s artistry spans the breadth of opera, oratorio, and musical theatre. Bradyn has worked with notable companies on both sides of the Atlantic, including Royal Northern College Opera (Tapioca, L’étoile); Arcadian Opera (Mr. Su, The Stone God); Garsington Opera (Don Curzio, Le nozze di Figaro); Chicago Opera Theater (District Inspector cover, The Nose); and Lyric Opera of Chicago (Chorus, Aida & Der fliegende Holländer). Bradyn has appeared in masterclasses with Erin Morley, Paul Agnew, Nicholas Phan, and Emma Kirkby, with residencies at Tanglewood Music Center, Les Arts Florissants, Emmanuel Music, and the Internationale Bachakademie Stuttgart. A frequent baroque interpreter, Bradyn recently debuted with Brighton Early Music Festival and has appeared in competitions with the Oratorio Society of New York at Carnegie Hall, Kentucky Bach Choir, Colorado Bach Ensemble, London Handel Festival, and Le Concours Corneille in France. Bradyn studies at the Royal Northern College of Music and holds a Master’s of Music from Northwestern University with additional degrees in musical theatre and classics from Samford University. Beyond singing, Bradyn is an avid tap dancer, published poet, and earl grey enthusiast.
