Amelia studied at the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance. After graduating she joined Company Chordelia Dance Theatre under the director Kally Lloyd-Jones.
Amelia now works as a freelance theatre director & choreographer based in London. Her work as a director and choreographer include: Cage in Motion (Roundhouse Camden, Britten Theatre), One Is The Loneliest Number (V&A museum, Dalston Old Boys Club, Cochrane Theatre, St Barnabas Church), We Had A Black Dog (Theatre de Menilmontant), Elephant Angel (Scottish Opera UK Tour), Warrior (West Yorkshire Playhouse), By Your Side (Bermondsey Street Festival), Sea of Love (The Yard Theatre), Transfigured Night (Cadogan Hall), Trouble in Tahiti (Kino-Teatr, UK Tour).

Amelia is currently developing an operatic production of Tennessee Williams’s Talk to Me Like the Rain and Let me Listen with Stage Left Project, due for release in 2020.
