Alys Whitehead is a Set and Costume Designer who trained at Central Saint Martins. She was a Resident Designer at the New Diorama Broadgate studios and was a 2024 JMK finalist. As associate designer, her work includes: MACBETH (Pinter); THE GLASS MENAGERIE (Rose Theatre, Belgrade Theatre, Alexandra Palace and UK tour); EARTHWORKS (Young Vic); MY BEAUTIFUL LAUNDRETTE (Leicester Curve & UK Tour); WORDPLAY (Royal Court); ZOE'S PECULAIAR JOURNEY THROUGH TIME (Theatre Rites/Southbank Centre & International Tour); SEA CREATURES (Hampstead).
Alys has also assisted on a number of high-profile productions, including DIXON AND DAUGHTERS (National Theatre) and SOUND OF THE UNDERGROUND (Royal Court Theatre).
