Alison began her training at D.I.T in Dublin with Mary Brennan, continuing at the Royal Welsh College of Music where she studied with the Wales International Academy of Voice. Alison has sung as a full time chorister at Welsh National Opera, and in 2011 was accepted onto ENO's Opera Works course for young artists.
She has sung a mixture of roles for Opera Ireland, Grange Park Opera, Buxton Opera, Longborough Opera Festival, Wexford festival Opera and WNO, and is currently with ENO.
Roles include: Dorabella Cosi fan tutte, Bridesmaid Marriage of Figaro, Mercedes Carmen, Giovanna Rigoletto, Third Lady Magic Flute, Orlofsky Die Fledermaus, Composer Ariadne auf Naxos, Suzuki Madama Butterfly and many more.
