Join our Trustee Board

Lfo Tjjd

We are currently seeking volunteer members to join our Trustee Board.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a tangible difference in the arts world.

Longborough Festival Opera is proud of its reputation for performing beautiful opera productions and sharing these in an accessible and welcoming atmosphere.  Alongside wide-ranging repertoire, Longborough is recognised as a special place to appreciate Wagner’s work in an intimate setting. Our Young Artist programme provides a professional platform to showcase emerging talent and our outreach programme specifically works with local students from rural areas with typically poor access to music and opera.

We seek new trustees to help us take forward our ambitions and artistic aspirations.

To ensure a balanced skillset at board level, we are currently seeking candidates with either fundraising and development experience or arts management experience. All candidates should have a strong affinity to opera.

We want our board to be inclusive and representative of our audience and our artists, both currently and who we want to attract in the future. We welcome and include all people irrespective of age, gender or gender identity, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, medical or other need.

The Board meet four times a year, as well as supporting the administrative team throughout the year. All trustees are appointed for a term of three years, up to a maximum of three terms.
