Amanda Holden has written numerous translations and librettos and is also founder-editor of the Penguin Opera Guides. She was Olivier Award nominated for translating Rameau’s Castor and Pollux and, with Mark-Anthony Turnage, winner for the libretto for The Silver Tassie (both ENO).
Amanda joins award-winning director Sam Brown – currently preparing for Longborough's upcoming Così fan tutte – to discuss Amanda's new English translation, commissioned especially for this production. Chaired by music journalist Henrietta Bredin.
This online-only event is currently available to Longborough members and Così fan tutte bookers.
