Longborough Festival Opera offers a selection of wines, supplied by Toke’s Food and Drink of Chipping Campden, and Sixteen Ridges vineyard of Ledbury. If not pre-ordered, only house wine can be guaranteed on the night.

You are welcome to bring your own wine, with corkage charged at £10 per bottle. We will supply glasses for you, included in the corkage fee.

White Wines

Pinot Grigio, Ca’ di Alte (Italy, 2017) £18
Delicate citrus perfumes, an attractive biscuit character and white floral notes on the nose.

Bacchus, Sixteen Ridges Vineyard (England, 2015) £23
Dry with a crisp finish. Herbaceous with citrusy fruit, similar to a New World Sauvignon Blanc.

Soave Classico Superiore, Monteforte (Italy, 2016) £26
Pale gold with a fresh, scented nose that shows hints of white fruit and almond blossom notes.

Sauvignon Blanc, Two Rivers (New Zealand, 2017) £28
Crushed fresh herbs, tomato leaf, gooseberry and fennel. Dry with a bright juicy finish.

Chablis, Domaine Chevallier (France, 2014) £34
Fresh with complex mineral notes. Flavours of white fruit and blossom before a long finish.

Sancerre, Domaine des Brosses (France, 2017) £38
A fresh palate with herbaceous notes of hay and nettle. Richly textured but with crisp acidity.

Bourgogne Oligocène, Patrick Javillier (France, 2015) £43
Round and rich on the palate, it is lifted on the finish by a good acidity.

Red Wines

Corvina, Alpha Zeta (Italy, 2017) £18
Fresh, vibrant aromas of ripe cherries and red berries. Bright plum and cinnamon flavours.

Rioja Crianza, El Coto (Spain, 2014) £23
Clean and well balanced. Strawberry combined with subtle vanilla flavours from American oak.

Pinot Noir Early, Sixteen Ridges Vineyard (England, 2016) £25
A light-bodied red with cherry, raspberry and earthy vanilla notes to the aroma and palate.

Valpolicella, Allegrini (Italy, 2016) £28
Fragrant fruit with notes of dark cherries, echoed by hints of pepper and aromatic herbs.

Estate Salta Malbec, Bodega Colomé (Argentina, 2015) £34
Aromas of black and red fruits, with touches of floral notes and hints of spices and minerals.

Château Béard La Chapelle, Saint-Émilion Grand Cru (France, 2012) £42
Full of red fruit aromas. Fine, silky tannins, ripe berry flavours and a savoury edge.

Gigondas, Domaine des Bosquets (France, 2015) £46
A complex nose of sweet blackberries, plums, herbs and cherries. Medium to full bodied.
